This opportunity allows volunteers to help those less fortunate while forming connections and practicing Danish if needed. Tasks include folding towels, sewing, and other small workshop activities at The Social Laundry. Volunteers can commit to a regular weekday (weekly or bi-weekly) with shifts of 2 to 3.5 hours starting at 9, 10, 11, or 12 AM. The environment is kind and welcoming, providing opportunities to meet staff, other volunteers, and individuals in the “praktik” program who are preparing to enter the job market.

Kirkens Korshær is a private organization, and all income from The Social Laundry supports social work for those in need.
